Releases

What's new?

All versions of IPX at a glance. At startup the program quietly checks whether a new version exists and lets you know.

Version 3.0

Completely rebuilt

IPX 3 is a complete rewrite from the ground up: new interface, new tools, our own network layer with IPv6 everywhere. The idea is the same as since 2011 – everything you need to check domains, servers and networks, in one program.

  • One input field detects domain, IPv4, IPv6, URL, e-mail and MAC address and suggests matching tools, also from the clipboard
  • 30 tools in six groups: Network, DNS & Domain, Web, E-mail, Developer and System
  • New: DNS propagation across 16 resolvers, security headers with grade, e-mail check with SPF/DKIM/DMARC, blacklist check, SMTP test, watchlist, HTTP request, JWT decoder, hashes, password generator, hosts file, DNS cache
  • Results colour-coded (ok, warning, error) with explanations, copy buttons and export as HTML, PDF, text or JSON
  • Light and dark, follows Windows or your choice; high DPI, contrasts to WCAG 2.1 AA
  • Command palette with Ctrl+K, history, favourites, full keyboard operation
  • Everything asynchronous: the interface never freezes, every query can be cancelled
  • German and English, switchable in the program
  • Trial 30 days with all tools; afterwards the basic tools stay free
  • Signed (setup and program) and installable without admin rights
Version 2.x

The classic IPX

Maintenance releases of the first generation: IP/host lookup, DNS, WHOIS, ping, traceroute, port scan, HTTP headers, LAN overview, subnet calculator. These versions are no longer developed; version 3 replaces them completely.

Version 1.x

The beginning

The first version of IPX as freeware: network tools for Windows in one window.
